Project Leaders and Technical Authorities in the System Management Program take the product requirements for the architecture and software that define the EMP platforms and drive the top level system design to meet best in class functionality and performance. This includes:

• Data communication
• Network signalling
• Application servers

Most of the design work is Use Case driven, with non functional aspects handled by a Core System design group, in addition to the above, that handles ASICs and hardware abstraction.
