Chibuzo - Baseband Engineer
What originally drew you to the company?
I joined Ericsson on the 2005 graduate scheme and my interest in the mobile communications made Ericsson an ideal place to work.
What projects have you worked on in your present job?
Feature Phone Development (HW support)
- Support for customers using our reference design to develop a product.
- Worked with a customer on their keypad and earphone implementations.
- Communication with the customer was via teleconferences and emails.
Platform Reference design development work
- Reference design preliminary work involving specification checks, Block diagram and Schematic design and review, PCB layout reviews.
- Verification of digital and analogue ASIC functionality to ensure full operability in line with design specifications and requirements.
Automated Test Development using LabView
Undertook a 3 week Secondment at the EMP facility in RTP, to learn about a new Platform

Reference design development for a new platform project.

I work with a group of talented engineers who have lots of experience to tap into. There is a great team spirit within Ericsson which eases pressure. The single best thing? Flexible start time!
